Any qualified physiotherapist meeting the following criteria can become a member of the SLKS:
1) Being registered in the professional register of the Luxembourg Ministry of Health
2) Being authorized by the Luxembourg Ministry of Health to use the title of ‘Masseur-Kinésithérapeute’ and to practice the profession in Luxembourg – Having completed or currently following a specialization in the field of Sports Physiotherapy (e.g., Master of Science, or other certified continuing education program)
3) Presenting an evidence-based approach to Sports Physiotherapy
4) Being/Becoming an active member of the ‘Association Luxembourgeoise de Kinésithérapeutes’ (ALK) and committing to pay the annual membership fees (ALK + SLKS via ⦁ www.alk.lu/adherer)
5) Abiding by the statutes and internal regulations of the SLKS
6) Having basic knowledge of the Luxembourgish language

3) Proof of registration in professional register of the Luxembourg Ministry of Health
4) Proof of authorization to practice the profession of ‘Masseur-Kinésithérapeute’ in Luxembourg
5) Diploma of (or proof of enrollment in) postgraduate education program in the field of Sports Physiotherapy
The Board of the SLKS will present all applications to the next General Assembly, proposing to admit or refuse the candidate. The General Assembly shall decide on the admission or refusal.
